Job summary

Recruit with Purpose in the North East is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to shape technology strategy for a Housing Association. You will translate business needs into robust technology solutions across projects, products and systems.

You will collaborate with the Enterprise Architect, product owners and system owners to design blueprints and roadmaps that align with enterprise architecture and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Solutions Architecture or similar role.
• Experience across at least two IT disciplines (infrastructure, applications, integrations, networking, databases or cloud).
• Proven track record of developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps.
• Experience taking technical solutions from design through delivery.
• Ability to assess existing technology estates and recommend improvements or modernisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication, with ability to influence at senior levels.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, agile methodologies and emerging tech trends.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into architectural designs and blueprints that support organisational objectives.
• Lead the evaluation, design and development of technology solutions across applications, infrastructure, integrations and cloud platforms.
• Assess existing systems and technologies, identifying opportunities for improvement, modernisation and rationalisation.
• Develop architecture roadmaps, standards and patterns to support the organisation's transition towards its future-state architecture.
• Provide architectural guidance and assurance, ensuring technology decisions align with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
