urbanbubble in Manchester is seeking a Credit Controller to support the Residential Team with billing and debt collection for a portfolio of sites under management. This 12-month fixed-term role emphasizes accurate ledger maintenance and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance team and dealings with billing or credit control.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience with debt collection and ARMA-Q guidelines is a plus.
• Desirable AA/T qualification or willingness to pursue.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for Billing and Credit Control queries for the Property Management team and tenants.
• Manage billing and collection of service charges and ground rent according to leases.
• Chase payments by phone and email and ensure customers meet terms.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly debt collection meetings with Property Managers.
• Liaise with solicitors and debt collection agents to maximise collections.
• Communicate with leaseholders by email/phone/letter and resolve queries.
• Provide KPI information and collaborate with third parties as needed.
• Meet cash collection and DSO monthly targets.
