Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd in Prestwich is seeking an organised Credit Controller to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase payments and maintain accurate debt records. The role offers hybrid working after probation, with two days from home and three days in the office, to support work-life balance.

You will work closely with the Finance team, resolve invoice queries, negotiate payment dates and contribute to cash flow by ensuring timely collections and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
• Excellent communication by phone and email to chase payments.
• Ability to negotiate payment dates and resolve invoice queries.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach with ability to manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio and ensure on-time payments.
• Proactively chase outstanding invoices by phone and email.
• Build relationships with customers and negotiate payment dates.
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries and disputes.
• Monitor aged debt and identify opportunities to reduce overdue balances.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and keep cash flowing.
• Maintain accurate account records and provide updates on debt.
• Support the Finance team with day-to-day activities.
