Rec Financial in Coventry is seeking an experienced Credit Controller on a contract basis with a view to permanent. The role supports debt recovery across the business with a hybrid working pattern (3 office days, 2 from home) and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or debt collection.
• Excellent customer service and team player.
• Strong communication and Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection of outstanding debt and minimise risk.
• Process payments, allocate cash and issue credit notes.
• Produce reports on aged debt and payment performance.
• Schedule time across debt collection tasks.
• Conduct debt‑management calls with clients and internal teams.
• Work within a regional ledger while receiving team support.
• Demonstrate strong communication, Excel and CRM knowledge.
