Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is recruiting a Birmingham-based Construction Solicitor with 0-4 PQE to develop across both advisory and disputes work. The role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary of £50,000-£72,000 plus bonus and a broad, varied caseload across construction matters.

You will work with employers, contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders on matters spanning contracts, disputes, ADR and court proceedings across sectors such as development, infrastructure and healthcare.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years' PQE with construction experience or closely related experience.
• Strong drafting ability and written communication.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
• Draft contracts, appointments and related documents.
• Assist with dispute avoidance, adjudications and arbitration.
• Advise clients across sectors: development, infrastructure, education.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
