The successful candidate will support the regional external sales team, manage existing accounts, and pursue new business while building strong customer relationships within a friendly, professional team.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, timber or similar product-based internal sales.
• Proven ability to generate and manage new business.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Excellent administrative skills and order processing experience.
• Desire to learn and progress in sales.

Responsibilities

• Generate new and manage existing business within a defined area of the UK.
• Identify and target new accounts and convert prospects into customers.
• Maintain and develop existing accounts and grow revenue.
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide administration support to the external sales team via order processing and credit control systems.
• Assist with stock notes distribution and marketing activities.
• Work to targets, KPIs and company procedures.
• Engage in training and develop product knowledge.
