Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Hertfordshire area and support travel for client meetings. The role combines office work with site visits and market analysis to identify opportunities in residential, commercial, and education sectors.

You will manage the tender pipeline, work with estimating and bid teams on compelling proposals, and lead client negotiations to secure projects and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.

Formación

• Experience in the construction sector is essential.
• Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and win bids/tenders.
• Willingness to travel and visit client sites as required.

Responsabilidades

• Research market trends and spot opportunities across residential, commercial, and education sectors.
• Manage a strong sales/tender pipeline and qualify inquiries.
• Collaborate with estimating, commercial, and bid teams to shape proposals and PQQ responses.
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiate terms with clients, and hand over projects to delivery teams.
• Track sales forecasts, CRM data, conversion rates and competitor activity for senior leadership.
