Qualifications

• Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, coverage types and claims procedures.
• Brokerage experience is essential to ensure comprehension of the industry.
• Minimum of 18 months experience in a similar claims role.
• Exposure to using Acturis is desirable for this role.
• Expertise in client relationship management is crucial for building positive connections.
• Understanding of general and legal principles of insurance and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial claims from start to finish, applying knowledge of policies, coverage types and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve claims promptly.
• Analyse claims data, identify trends and support risk reduction strategies.
• Build strong relationships with clients, brokers and insurers to improve satisfaction.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations and new technologies to drive process improvements.
• Prepare reports and present KPIs to stakeholders.
