Biometric Talent is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our growing Cloud Engineering team. You will design and deliver enterprise-scale cloud solutions across Azure, AWS and hybrid environments for major clients, shaping the technical vision and guiding delivery from design to implementation.

You’ll work hands-on when required and lead architectural workshops with stakeholders, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery, governance, and security considerations to

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect.
• Strong Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud experience.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform, Bicep).
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud delivery practices.
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, governance.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or telecom environments would be highly beneficial.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic architectural thinking with practical delivery requirements.
• Experience supporting cloud transformation programmes.
• Proactive approach to automation and operational improvement.
• Strong organisational and delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure cloud solutions across Azure, AWS and hybrid environments.
• Own the technical architecture and shape direction from design to implementation.
• Lead architecture workshops with client stakeholders to understand requirements and define solutions.
• Advise Product Owners on infrastructure implications of backlogs and roadmaps.
• Take ownership of infrastructure design, provisioning and change activities.
• Provision cloud infrastructure components and manage access in Azure and AWS.
• Coordinate access to client infrastructure and onboard new environments.
• Deliver architecture, design and code deliverables meeting high quality standards.
• Support cloud transformation initiatives from strategy through to implementation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance and governance standards.
• Collaborate with other Cloud Engineering and delivery teams for integration.
• Provide technical input into planning, prioritisation and delivery progress.
• Communicate updates to programme leadership.
