Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a Cloud Engineer to lead a major cloud transformation. You’ll evolve hosting into a hybrid multi-cloud ecosystem using AWS and Google Cloud, ownership of platform lifecycle, security, and reliability.

You’ll design, build, automate, and optimise infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Deployment Manager, plus scripting in Python/Go/Bash. Strong SRE, CI/CD, and Kubernetes experience required.

Qualifications

• Proven Cloud Engineer experience with AWS and/or GCP.
• IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.
• Automation and scripting in Python/Go/Bash.
• CI/CD and cloud-native deployment experience.
• Kubernetes with EKS or GKE and Docker.
• Cloud security, IAM, networking, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage core cloud infra on AWS and GCP.
• Develop and maintain IaC modules to standardise deployments.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud resources.
• Build tooling in Python/Go/Bash for operational tasks.
• Manage containerised apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support SRE practices including on-call ownership and incident response.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting across clouds.
• Collaborate with development teams to CI/CD pipelines and gitops.
