SR2 London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid) is seeking a hands-on Cloud Architect to own the infrastructure powering a confidential AI platform for investment firms. You will lead AWS architecture and Kubernetes/EKS, building and refining infrastructure with Terraform, Helm and automation.

The role requires strong production experience with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform and Helm; you will improve CI/CD, monitoring and platform reliability, guide engineers, and work with security specialists.

Qualifications

• Background in infrastructure with architecture ownership
• Production experience with AWS
• Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform and Helm
• Proven ability to improve reliability and control costs
• Experience with AI coding tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own AWS architecture, Kubernetes/EKS whilst building consistent infrastructure with Terraform, Helm and automation.
• Design secure client isolation across infrastructure, identity and data.
• Control cloud and AI costs, including model-provider usage.
• Improve CI/CD, monitoring and platform reliability.
• Guide engineers on architecture and partner with security specialists
