Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise platform engineering team focused on automated cloud networking solutions in a financial services setting.

You will help develop the platform that provisions cloud networking at scale, covering VPCs, subnets, routing, policies and private connectivity, while collaborating with platform, SRE, and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD and production-grade engineering.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, routing, DNS, connectivity) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and operate automated cloud networking provisioning at scale.
• Build and maintain scalable cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, routing, and private connectivity.
• Contribute to technical design and operational excellence of the platform.

I’m looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise platform engineering team, building and operating automated cloud networking solutions within a complex financial services environment.

You’ll help develop the platform that automates cloud networking provisioning at scale, covering VPCs, subnets, routing, policies and private connectivity.

What I’m looking for:

• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred)
• Strong experience with Kubernetes
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go
• Experience with automation, CI/CD and production-grade engineering
• Cloud networking knowledge across areas such as VPCs, routing, DNS and connectivity would be a strong advantage
• Financial services or other regulated industry experience is beneficial
