Job summary

BlueCrest Capital Management seeks a hands-on DevOps engineer (12 month FTC) to own end-to-end delivery and operations of our DevOps environments in a modern hybrid cloud setup. You will apply Azure and AWS expertise, automation maturity, and strong scripting to support live trading platforms.

The role requires a proactive technologist comfortable operating with minimal guardrails while advancing standardisation, observability and reliability across global data centres and multi-cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Very strong Azure and AWS skills.
• Very strong automation skills.
• Experience working with pull requests and peer reviews.
• Experience with Ansible, Terragrunt and Terraform.
• Python
• Very good understanding of containerisation technologies.
• Very good understanding of AI related infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end delivery and operations of DevOps environments.
• Support live hedge fund trading systems with minimal guardrails.
• Lead modernization of global infrastructure across on-prem and multi-cloud.
