Job summary

Client Server is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS) in London with hybrid work. You will design, automate and scale AWS infrastructure, manage containers on ECS, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, secure software delivery.

The role blends hands-on cloud engineering with governance, security and cost optimisation. You’ll work three days in the London office and two days remote, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders in FinTech/market data.

Qualifications

• 2.1+ from a top-tier university (e.g. Russell Group/Oxbridge).
• Experience in FinTech or financial services environment.
• Strong AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience managing ECS-based containerised environments.
• Hands-on with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, VPCs, load balancing and security groups.
• Experience with IAM, access control and cloud security principles.
• Experience scripting/automation using Python or similar languages.
