Job summary

Capita is hiring a Functional Specialist in Wales for hybrid work (home and clinic-based). You will conduct assessments, analyse health information, and produce evidence-based reports to support benefit decisions. The role emphasizes structured, manageable workloads without direct care shifts, with regular hours 8am-5pm.

Applicants should be NMC/HCPC registered with a valid PIN and at least one year post-registration experience. Strong IT skills and the ability to work remotely are essential.

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registration with a valid PIN and no current restrictions.
• Minimum of one year post-registration experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, report writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial reviews and assessments face-to-face, by video, or by phone.
• Analyse clinical information and supporting evidence for decision making.
• Write detailed reports to support DWP decisions; no treatment provided.
• Utilise IT systems for decision making and documentation.
