Job summary

Howden Group in the UK is seeking a Client Service Specialist to manage a portfolio of UK SME clients, delivering day-to-day support on pensions, group risk and health benefits.

You will work with consultants, handle queries, prepare data for reports, coordinate renewals, and help onboard new clients, with occasional travel and monthly office attendance.

The role requires at least 3 years in employee benefits, strong relationship skills, and proficient MS Office; GR1/IF7 qualifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Employee Benefits or similar consultancy
• Strong understanding of group health, group risk and pensions
• Proven ability to support and build credible client relationships
• Experience using an internal client relationship management database
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of UK SME clients, supporting pensions, group risk and healthcare
• Interact directly with clients to resolve queries and nurture relationships
• Gather client information and liaise with insurers to obtain renewals and quotes
• Support onboarding of new business and contribute to renewal reports
• Prepare client data for reports and liaise with providers
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance; occasional travel as needed
