Job summary

Howden is seeking a Head of Client Services – Pensions to lead a high-performing team delivering exceptional client, consultant and colleague experiences across pensions services. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring governance, risk management and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and growth.

Based in the UK with hybrid working, you’ll partner with Client Directors, Consultants and Sales to secure client retention and service excellence,

Qualifications

• Experience leading client services teams in financial services/ pensions.
• Strong governance, risk management and regulatory oversight experience.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Principal/Managers to deliver high‑quality client outcomes.
• Ensure service standards, governance and regulatory requirements are met across the function.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Client Directors, Consultants and stakeholders.
• Oversee budget, resources and operational performance to enable sustainable growth.
• Lead strategic projects and initiatives within Client Services.
