Job summary

The Veterinary Defence Society Limited is seeking an organised and customer-focused Operational Administrator to join our Claims Operations Team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be the first point of contact for members seeking claims advice and support, helping to deliver an exceptional service throughout the lifecycle of a claim.

This role also supports policy administration activities including new business enquiries, renewals and policy changes; you will collaborate with teams

Qualifications

• Role involves providing first point of contact for members seeking claims advice.
• Supports policy administration including new business enquiries, renewals and changes.
• Hybrid work with monthly office attendance at least one day per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service and support to VDS members.
• Manage and maintain accurate records across a variety of systems.
• Support policy administration and credit control activities.
• Liaise with internal teams, including Finance and Claims, to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Record and manage member complaints and feedback in line with regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the member experience.
• Support departmental and business-wide projects.
• Process incoming correspondence and maintain accurate electronic records.
