Job summary

Impression Recruitment is seeking a motivated Civil/Structural Engineer in Harrogate to join a growing consultancy. You will contribute to a diverse portfolio across residential, commercial and industrial projects, taking increasing responsibility and liaising with clients.

Essential requirements include 2 years’ civil/structural experience and a BSc/MSc in civil engineering, with knowledge of UK design standards. After probation, hybrid working is available and ongoing CPD is supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of civil or structural engineering experience.
• Understanding of UK design codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and calculations for multiple materials.
• Produce calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Support site inspections, surveys and structural assessments.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver projects to high standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Assist with project planning from design to completion.
• Contribute to efficient design solutions and quality control.
