Job summary

Rullion Managed Services is seeking a Civil & Structural Design Engineer for a 6-month contract in Manchester, starting January 2026. The role involves producing and reviewing technical solutions for grid access substations and HVDC converter stations, with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 at home).

You will collaborate with multiple design disciplines, deliver packages on time and within budget, and provide governance on proposals.

Qualifications

• Requires civil/structural design experience in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 responsibilities for designers.
• Ability to review and validate design calculations and documents.
