Job summary

Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd is helping our client recruit a Senior Civil Engineer on an initial 6‑month contract. The role is hybrid with 2 days per week in the office and locations including London, Warwick or Manchester.

Initial Power sector projects cover drainage, hardstanding, utilities and road interfaces for substations. You will join a Civil & Structural team delivering design packages across earthworks, drainage, external works and infrastructure, taking ownership with minimal

Qualifications

• A relevant civil engineering degree or qualification.
• Strong knowledge across earthworks, drainage, pavement design and external works.
• Experience delivering civil design packages across broad civils scope.
• Experience using MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage and Civil 3D.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of defined design activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering design work across a broad range of areas within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate a well‑rounded civil engineering understanding beyond drainage.
• Take ownership of allocated design work and deliver with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate design activities within projects as needed.
