Civic is a team of system thinkers in the built environment, creating positive impact for people, places and the planet. We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our London studio, bringing experience across residential, education, commercial, development and regeneration.

You will work with private and public-sector clients, applying technical expertise and clear communication. Leadership and people development are key as you guide engineers, manage resources, and contribute to our DEI

Qualifications

• Chartered or on track to chartership.
• Experience across residential, education, commercial, development and regeneration.

Responsibilities

• Civil and Structural engineering design
• Highways or Drainage experience
• Preparing and checking drawings and calculations
• Briefing Engineers and Technicians on the above
• Attending site and project team meetings
• Occasional visits to construction sites for survey/ inspection of works
• Internal reviews/ critiques
• On project training
• Assistance to Directors
• Technical report writing
• Project resource planning and deadline management
• Specification writing
• Compliance with the duties of Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015
• Compliance with the Practice QMS.
