Job summary

HM Prison and Probation Service in the Midlands region is seeking a Change Officer to coordinate local and national change projects within the Area Change Delivery Team. Hybrid working is possible depending on business needs, with duties including leading change groups and managing governance processes.

The role requires experience in delivering change initiatives, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to interpret performance data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Evidence of change delivery experience.
• Ability to interpret performance data and explain its meaning.
• Knowledge of change management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee local and national change initiatives.
• Act as lead contact for a prison, probation establishment, or area.
• Lead task and finish groups, project meetings and focus groups.
• Record and track change activity in GMS and Project for the Web.
• Monitor compliance with service levels and policies.
• Build relationships with regional or national stakeholders.
• Present at governance boards and meetings.
• Identify risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies.
