Job summary

Warwick District Council in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor (Career Grade) to join the Housing Assets team. The post involves managing planned maintenance, surveying stock, preparing specifications and overseeing contractors and budgets from inception to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience of undertaking building surveys and managing resulting works.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience delivering major projects in occupied homes or business premises.

Responsibilities

• Join the Housing Assets team and manage planned maintenance and improvement projects.
• Undertake building and stock condition surveys and prepare specifications.
• Manage contractors, projects and budgets from inception through to completion.
