Warwick District Council is seeking a Building Surveyor (Career Grade) to join its Housing Assets team. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the council’s housing stock and wider property portfolio, including planned maintenance, surveys, specifications and budget management.

Qualifications

• Built environment qualification or relevant experience.
• Experience of building surveys and managing resulting works.
• Experience delivering major projects in occupied homes or business premises.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Join the Housing Assets team to maintain and improve the Council’s housing stock and wider property portfolio.
• Manage planned maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
• Undertake building and stock condition surveys and prepare specifications.
• Manage contractors, projects and budgets from inception through to completion.
