Job summary

James Fisher Offshore Limited seeks a Bid Lead in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. The role reports to the Bid Manager and leads the bid process from enquiry to submission, coordinating input from across sales, technical, operations, finance, HSE, legal and tax teams.

The position is permanent with hybrid working—three days in the office. Travel may be required for client meetings and post-bid activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender, bid, or proposals coordination with multiple concurrent bids.
• Experience using tender portals and document management systems.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bid process from enquiry to submission, ensuring timely, compliant documentation.
• Coordinate input from sales, technical, operations, finance, HSE, legal and tax teams.
• Support client queries and post-bid activities including clarifications and handovers.
• Monitor bid opportunities; maintain bid trackers, logs and reports.
• Maintain records in Salesforce/ERP; ensure document integrity for submissions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes, tools and templates.
