Job summary

Co-op Digital is reshaping its Digital, Technology and Data function in Manchester. We seek a BI Developer to build cutting-edge data products and BI reports using Power BI and Strategy, supporting a wide range of colleagues and teams across the business.

You’ll partner with data engineers to acquire, validate and manage data from multiple sources, design and deploy BI solutions, and drive governance, accessibility and performance of reporting assets.

Qualifications

• Experience of data models, reports, and dashboards across web and mobile platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and data warehousing understanding.
• Experience with Power BI or Strategy for BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teams across the wider business to understand requirements and provide insights.
• Design, develop, test, and optimise BI solutions with accessibility and performance in mind.
• Collaborate with data engineers to acquire, cleanse and manage data from multiple sources.
• Build reporting layer tables in Databricks.
• Govern data interfaces to democratise information across the organisation.
• Develop data visualisation products tailored to users’ needs.
• Work cross-functionally with data and technology teams.
