Job summary

Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment is seeking a BI Developer for a London hybrid role with a 12-18 month FTC. You will build and maintain ETL pipelines, optimise SQL Server/T-SQL, and design dimensional models to support BI solutions across leading financial services clients.

The role also involves SSAS cube development, DAX calculations, and collaboration with analysts to translate requirements into scalable solutions while adapting to evolving client needs.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with SQL Server and T-SQL development.
• Proven ETL development and data pipeline experience.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
• Experience with dimensional modelling, including star schema, semantic models, tabular models and Kimball methodologies.
• Exposure to DAX development.
• Experience working across complex data environments and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Consultancy experience is highly desirable, although candidates from fast-paced project environments will also be considered.
• Exposure to Python would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines.
