Job summary

Castle Trust Bank is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Data Team in Basingstoke on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office, 2 at home). You will develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL and DAX to turn complex data into actionable insight for Savings, Mortgage and Point-of-Sale Lending.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, support self-service analytics, contribute to data quality and governance, and help evolve our modern data platform with AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering BI solutions using Power BI.
• Strong SQL querying, data analysis and data validation skills.
• Strong understanding of DAX, including measures, calculated columns, time intelligence and performance optimisation.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, engage stakeholders and translate business needs into effective reporting and analytical solutions.
• Experience supporting data testing, validation and quality assurance activities.
• Understanding of data governance principles including business definitions, ownership, lineage and reporting standards.
• Awareness of AI-enabled analytics, Copilot and natural language reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports and analytics to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Translate stakeholder reporting requirements into user-friendly data solutions.
• Build and maintain Power BI reporting solutions and semantic models.
• Support business change initiatives with accurate reporting outputs.
• Validate data and ensure trusted, reliable reporting outputs.
• Contribute to data dictionaries, report catalogs and data lineage documentation.
