Job summary
La Fosse Associates is seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Senior BI Analyst in Essex, hybrid working. The role involves bridging business and tech teams, gathering requirements and driving data governance and analytics improvements.
You will work with stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions, develop Power BI reports, and ensure governance and security across sensitive data environments.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Technical Business Analyst or BI role.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing large datasets.
- Daily use of Power BI for report and dashboard development.
- Experience eliciting and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality and information security.
- Experience handling sensitive or regulated data.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Support the design and implementation of data and reporting solutions.
- Work with large datasets to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with BI and Data teams to enhance reporting capabilities and data accessibility.
- Ensure data governance, security and compliance requirements are adhered to.
- Support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and data access controls for sensitive information.
- Drive best practice around data quality, governance and reporting standards.
