Job summary

NHS Supply Chain in the UK is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support a transformation programme, enabling standardised BI capabilities and dashboards for commercial teams.

You will work hybrid, two days on site, with a starting salary of £37,502 rising to £41,669 over three years, and a closing date of 6 October 2026. The role offers development, a generous pension and employee wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Interpret, analyze and present data using Excel, Access, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Cognos, Python, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Collaborate with commercial directorates to define insights requirements and source from datasets.
• Analyse data from diverse sources to identify themes and potential business impacts.
• Run advanced and predictive analyses and perform model assessments and validation.
• Manage basic aspects of the data management system under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, analyze and present data using a variety of tools.
• Work with commercial directorates teams to establish insights requirements and source from valid data sets.
• Use data from wide range of sources to analyse key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.
• Run advanced and predictive analyses and perform model assessments, validation, and enhancement activities.
• Collate and analyse data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Independently.
• Manage basic aspects of the data management system with guidance from senior colleagues.
