Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships in partnership with Heathrow Shared Apprenticeship Scheme invites applicants to join the Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) Apprenticeship. The programme runs 36 months, combining college study with hands-on installation, commissioning and maintenance across residential and commercial sites.

You will learn to design technical documentation, write control software, and create user interfaces for plant systems while following RAMS and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Living in England for the last 3 years and right to work status.
• 18+ due to site H&S rules.
• Interest in control, performance and efficiency of energy usage and comfort control in buildings.

Responsibilities

• Design and create BEMS technical documentation.
• Design and write software for control systems to industry-standard.
• Install BEMS control equipment and wiring systems.
• Commission BEMS software and control equipment.
• Create operation and maintenance documentation.
