Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships Limited offers an Apprenticeship in Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) at Heathrow Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. You will design, install and maintain BEMS in buildings with HVAC and electrical systems, creating documentation and software for control systems while adhering to RAMS and safety standards.

The role is hybrid with site visits to construction locations and training through Level 4 BEMS Control Engineer course funded by K10.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 / C or above, or Functional Skills at Level 2 or above.
• K10 will enrol you to the Level 4 BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems) Control Engineer course.

Responsibilities

• Design and create BEMS Technical Documentation.
• Design and write software for control systems to industry standards.
• Create client-approved user interfaces for plant and systems.
• Adhere to RAMS and health & safety documentation.
• On-site installation and wiring of BEMS control equipment.
• Commission BEMS software and control equipment.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance of BEMS installations.
• Prepare detailed site survey reports and recommendations.
