Job summary
Carrington West is seeking an experienced Building Energy Management System (BEMS) Engineer to join our Building Services Design Practice in the UK. You will design and implement BEMS strategies, collaborate with MEP teams, and conduct site surveys across diverse sectors while visiting projects in Epsom, Manchester and sites as required.
The role offers hybrid working with travel across the UK, opportunities for progression, and exposure to cutting-edge BEMS technologies.
Qualifications
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field preferred.
- Strong experience in BEMS design, application and commissioning.
- Hands-on site experience with installation, testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement BEMS strategies aligned with building services.
- Prepare technical specifications, schematics and points schedules.
- Collaborate with MEP teams and Global Technology Centre.
- Conduct site surveys, inspections and assist commissioning of BEMS installations.
- Provide expert advice on control strategies and emerging BEMS technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and help develop internal technical standards.
- Represent the company at client and contractor meetings.
