Bigblue in Birmingham is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive high-margin fit-out opportunities across commercial offices, labs, industrial and education sectors. The role offers hybrid working (1–2 days in the office per week) and immediate start within a market-leading D&B interior specialist.

You will leverage an established regional network to secure tenders, mentor a small research/telemarketing team, and report on GP-driven pipeline while shaping regional expansion strategy.

Competenze

• Experience in commercial office fit-out (D&B or traditional) is preferred.
• Established active contact network across landlords, agents and workplace consultants.
• Self-motivated with autonomy; results-driven focusing on GP margins.

• Generate and qualify high-margin fit-out opportunities across office, labs, industrial and education sectors.
• Leverage networks to secure new tender opportunities with agents, landlords, project managers and end-users.
• Drive GP-based success rather than top-line revenue.
• Attend client discovery meetings and transition qualified opportunities to Project Directors at pitch stage.
• Develop regional networks across Midlands and North and growth hubs.
• Mentor and guide the internal prospecting and telemarketing team.
• Represent the business at key networking events, forums and client engagements.
• Maintain pipeline reporting and strategic account plans in the CRM.
