Phoenix Health & Safety, part of Wilmington plc, seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager for a hybrid role based in London. This position offers a competitive base up to £45k plus an uncapped £22k commission and a structured benefits package including healthcare, pension, and wellness programs.

You will drive new business, nurture relationships, and own your pipeline from prospecting to close while collaborating with SDRs and cross-functional teams to exceed growth targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative sales or relationship management.
• Experience in Business to Business sales.
• Proven ability to present solutions, write proposals, and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured introductory meetings with prospective clients routed from the SDR or self-generated leads.
• Use consultative questioning to understand compliance needs and business goals.
• Qualify opportunities and present the Phoenix value proposition effectively.
• Collaborate with wider teams to deliver feedback and improvements.
• Deliver and co-deliver client presentations and meetings via Teams.
• Ensure documentation reflects client challenges, timelines and success criteria.
• Maintain meeting notes, proposals, and deal statuses in HubSpot.
• Track conversion metrics and keep pipeline visibility up to date.
• Provide market feedback to marketing and outbound teams.
