Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design, deployment and optimization of secure containerized environments on AWS (EKS, ECS, Fargate). The role requires active security clearances and experience with public sector frameworks.

The candidate will drive IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, implement compliant CI/CD, and ensure robust monitoring and reliability across multi-tenant deployments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated AWS cloud architecture experience in secure, compliant environments.
• Hands-on experience with EKS/ECS/Fargate and VPC design.
• IaC tooling with Terraform and CloudFormation, and automated pipeline tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure, highly available containerized applications on AWS (EKS, ECS, Fargate).
• Enforce public sector security standards and IAM governance.
• Lead multi-team architecture and multi-tenant deployment efforts.
• Develop security-by-design IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines with auditability and rollback capabilities.
• Implement centralized monitoring and reliability practices (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Engage stakeholders and provide technical designs for cloud architectures.
