Job summary

Cobham-based accountancy firm seeking Audit Assistant Manager to lead statutory audits, plan engagements, and review financial statements under FRS 102/IFRS. Hybrid working and a clear path for professional growth accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• A professional qualification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
• Experience managing audit processes within the accountancy industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Proficiency with accounting software and audit tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of statutory audit engagements across a variety of sectors including SMEs, large corporates, groups and other entities.
• Lead audit work from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS.
• Mentor junior members of the team and manage juniors when out conducting audits.
