Job summary

Foster & May Limited in Manchester is expanding its Quantity Surveying team. We are seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to lead budgeting, cost control, and reporting on high-profile healthcare, education, and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will mentor junior staff, liaise with clients, and develop robust cost forecasts, while upholding best practice and MRICS standards. Hybrid working arrangements are available and salary is competitive.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent.
• Previous experience within a UK PQS.
• Ideally experience within the commercial / Industrial sector.
• Strong Pre and Post Contract knowledge.
• Chartered/MRICS status.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project budgets, costs and forecasts.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and cost advice to clients.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure value-for-money.
