Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Plymouth is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a growing property and construction consultancy. You will support cost management across a diverse portfolio, including residential, healthcare, historic buildings, hotels and mixed-use schemes, working with experienced QS/PMs to deliver value.

This role offers hybrid working, APC/professional development support and clear progression toward MRICS as you take on greater responsibility within the team.

Qualifikationen

• 18+ months' consultancy experience in property/construction.
• Experience in cost management and commercial delivery.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and contracts.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take on responsibility.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Aufgaben

• Assist with cost planning, estimating and budgeting.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports.
• Support procurement and tendering.
• Assist with contract administration and commercial management.
• Support valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Monitor project costs and expenditure.
• Collaborate with senior QS and PMs; develop technical knowledge.
• Pursue MRICS progression where applicable.
