Job summary

Cygnet is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for our Kings Hill office in Kent. This hybrid role combines office and home-based work, with two days in the office and three from home.

You will support monthly site management accounts, build dashboard packs, and perform variance analysis while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Strong Excel and accounting software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be AAT Level 2 qualified and actively working towards Level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dashboard packs and conduct variance analysis against budgets with commentary for management.
• Prepare site monthly management accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile financial records in line with standards and policies.
• Prepare quarterly internal audit packs.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
• Collaborate with payroll and other departments to understand financial results.
