Job summary

Cygnet in Kings Hill, West Malling, is seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the growing Finance Team and support the Operations Management Accountant with monthly and year-end reporting processes.

You’ll be responsible for preparing monthly site management accounts, dashboards with financial analysis, and maintaining financial records, with a hybrid pattern and 2 days in the Kings Hill office.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAT qualification.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Line management for 3 Assistant Management Accountants
• Prepare dashboard packs and conduct variance analysis with commentary
• Prepare site monthly management accounts
• Maintain, update and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare quarterly internal audit packs
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects
• Collaborate with payroll and other departments
