CMA Recruitment Group is helping a hospitality business in Bournemouth recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. The role focuses on forecasting, monthly management accounts, and budgeting within a collaborative finance team.

You will work closely with department heads, analyse performance, and contribute to VAT returns while developing in a fast-moving environment with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting, with month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to analyse financial data and produce insights.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with operational management and department heads, supporting regular revenue and cost forecasting
• Produce and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring reporting is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
• Review financial performance, identifying revenue opportunities and areas where costs can be better controlled
• Support the preparation and analysis of annual budgets
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations across the group, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Reconcile intercompany balances and prepare the associated accounting journals
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
