CMA Recruitment Group is supporting a forward-thinking manufacturing business in Andover, Hampshire, with a newly created Assistant Accountant role. You’ll join a busy finance function and help manage accounts payable and receivable, supplier relationships and payroll data processing.

The ideal candidate is actively studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA, keen to learn, highly organized and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid working 3–4 days.

Qualifikationen

• Actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA
• Have an extreme desire to learn and progress
• Able to manage multiple priorities accurately and on time
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills and process improvement focus
• Works effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Collaborates well across teams

Aufgaben

• Ability to support accounts payable, receivable and supplier management processes
• Assisting with the preparation of VAT, corporation tax and other statutory returns
• Helping to improve finance systems and streamline transactional workflows
• Assisting with payroll processing, including data collation and benefits administration
• Responding promptly to internal finance queries and providing day-to-day support to the team
