Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd is seeking an Assistant Business Controller in a hybrid role, split between on-site Plymouth and remote work. The position supports accounting, reporting and analysis for multiple entities in a manufacturing context.

You will supervise day-to-day accounting, oversee month-end close, manage audits and implement ERP-driven improvements. A multinational background and strong Excel, presentation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance (CPA preferred).
• 4+ years of standard costing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a multinational company including consolidation of entities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• High energy, results-oriented, team player.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to create executive-level presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including AR, AP, and fixed assets.
• Assist research of new accounting standards and their application.
• Oversee month-end close to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Analyze balance sheet reconciliations and inventory (raw materials, WIP, FG).
• Support standardized monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, with analytics for anomalies.
• Prepare explanations for plans and forecasts and forecast revenues/expenses.
• Coordinate with operations and cost accounting to understand results and variances.
• Serve as main contact for external auditors and participate in internal audits.
• Maximize ERP usage and work with ERP manager to improve efficiency.
• Develop tools (e.g., Power BI) to streamline reporting and analysis.
