Job summary

Able Bridge Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an assistant audit manager for a Scottish independent accountancy firm. The role focuses on delivering audit services to a range of clients, mentoring junior staff and reporting to the audit manager/partnership group.

The position is office-based at least two days per week with flexible/hybrid arrangements. Candidates should be professionally qualified with at least 3 years PQE in a UK audit environment, strong technical knowledge, and excellent

Responsibilities

• Lead own audits with minimal supervision.
• Mentor, develop and supervise junior staff.
• Manage a varied client portfolio across sectors.
• Review work of junior staff prior to RI review and provide feedback.
• Plan and coordinate the audit process within budget.
• Draft and review audit completion reports and statutory accounts.
