Job summary

Able Bridge Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager for a Scottish independent accountancy firm. The role involves leading audits for a range of clients, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating audit planning with RI review.

• You are a professionally qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years PQE in a UK environment.
• Strong technical audit knowledge is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits with minimal supervision while reviewing junior staff work.
• Manage a varied client portfolio across sectors including technology and manufacturing.
• Coordinate planning and execution of audits and liaise with clients.
• Mentor and develop junior staff on the audit team.
• Draft and review audit completion reports and statutory accounts.
• Ensure work is completed within budget and deadlines.
