Job summary

MNB Precision in Coventry is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) with hybrid working arrangements. The salary is £34,000 - £38,000 per annum.

You will support accounts payable, maintain the general ledger, assist with management accounts and reconciliations, and handle banking, fixed assets, stock, VAT returns, and ad hoc analysis. AAT Level 4 or studying is essential, with strong Excel and prior accounting experience.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 qualified or currently studying.
• Strong Excel skills (data analysis, reporting).
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with accruals, prepayments and journal postings.
• Balance sheet reconciliations experience.
