Job summary

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is hiring an Finance Assistant (Band 3) in Liverpool. This hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days home) sits in the Financial Accounts team and covers Accounts Payable duties under established financial procedures.

You will contribute to a responsive finance service, work within NHS standards, and develop skills in accounting systems while supporting a busy NHS environment.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSE passes (grade C or above) including Maths/English or equivalent or equivalent work based experience.
• Acquired or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification or relevant work experience in Finance
• Progression towards obtaining ECDL (IT skills).

Responsibilities

• Contributes to Accounts Payable duties within the Financial Accounts team.
• Ensures compliance with the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions and Delegation.
• Supports provision of a quality, responsive Finance service across the Trust.
