Job summary

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join the Financial Accounts team. This entry-level Band 3 role supports a range of duties in the accounts payable area, in line with Standing Financial Instructions and internal procedures.

You will contribute to a quality, responsive finance service across the Trust, with duties covering AP/AR processes, reconciliation, and timely processing.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent work-based experience
• Recognised accountancy qualification, acquired or in progress, or relevant finance work experience
• Experience of working in a busy administrative environment
• Experience of using spreadsheets

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of duties within the Accounts Payable team
• Work in line with the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions, Scheme of Reservation and Delegation and internal office procedures
• Contribute to a quality, responsive Finance service across the Trust
